Round Woven Hummingbird Wall Hanging

This circular weaving features a beautiful hummingbird flying in a sunrise background. We have two hummingbird feeders in our back yard. Watching these agile creatures and their antics provides great entertainment all year round! I was eager to work on this frame and as I wove in all the vivid colours and textures of yarn, silk and velvet, it brought me just as much joy to make it as to watch them flitting around from flower to feeder in my back yard.

So here he is, my beautiful, sweet hummingbird in flight -- and he's looking outlets for a new home!

The stainless steel, powder-coated frame is 12 inches diameter.
