Vintage Handcrafted Stuffed Llama or outlets Alpaca + Leather Camel, 6" Ornament Figurine Embroidered Gold Incan Royalty Peru South America Morocco
Here's a couple vintage 1950's or so stuffed animals from long ago vacations. These are probably from tourist shops in South America and Morocco or somewhere in the close vicinity. Both are between 5 1/2" and 6" high and deep.
The llama (maybe alpaca) wears a regalia type outfit that includes embroidered flowers with gold metal type thread and beads on turquoise fabric of cotton. He is a brownish linen type fabric body, with feathers on his head, gold thread eyes sewn in spirals outlets, a tail of probably alpaca yarn, and little ears. It has an ornament hanger on top which you can just stuff inside if you prefer to use this table top.
The camel has a fringed purple and silver sequin saddle, over a white genuine leather body with hand stitching. There are silver sequin eyes and little ears and tail.
Condition is good vintage with the camel being closer to excellent condition; the llama or alpaca does have a lot of aging, a few small breaks in the strings acting as a bridle, and may have a few small feathers missing; the tail is rough as well.
