Matryoshka Nesting outlets Doll Ponies

This project is inspired by the traditional Russian nesting dolls called Matryoshka.
The largest pony base used in this project is a 9 inch tall Rainbow Dash zilla pony base from Walgreens. It's truly one of the largest generation 4 ponies in existence. The middle sized base is a standard 3 inch tall Rainbow Dash and then the itty bitty pony base is a blind bag sized.
I carved holes in the backs of the largest and middle sized ponies outlets and stored their wings away for future projects.
All 3 pony bases were coated in white gesso to give the acrylic paint work a texture to bond do. Itty bitty pony has yellow full body repaint, middle sized pony has light blue full body repaint with a hand blended green gradient up the legs, and the giant pony has a coral red full body repaint with red/magenta hand blended gradient up the legs. Faces are sunkissed peach acrylic pigment, eyes painted in my style and they were all given blush and lipstick, and they all have floral themed body paint work. All paint sealed in Artists Varnish. Did some minimal rhinestone embellishing.
Zilla pony's mane and tail are cut from a braided wig and fastened in place. Medium sized pony has nylon mlp dollyhair honeysuckle mane and tail, and the itty bitty pony has nylon mlp dollyhair tail in the color blizzard to match her painted white mane. Decided to cut its original hard tail off so it'd fit better in the back of the middle sized pony.
Their head scarves are all hand stitched, added textile trim detail to the middle and zilla sized ponies. Green and white fabric flower added to the zilla's side of head.
