Vintage outlets 1920s black satin evening wrap opera cape with white fur collar by Gunther Furs

Vintage 1920s stunning black silk satin evening cape in a tulip layered style. Heavier black satin exterior has the main calf length section that is then topped with the 2 part back cape. There is a single button and loop that hides under the fur collar and creates a slight asymmetrical close. The exterior fabric is all the same but there is outlets a trick of light in the photos that gives the lower part of the overlay look more matte. Underside of over lay is lined in black crepe while the main portion is lined in a blush silk. Examination shows that all of the components are original to the piece based on fabric content, stitching, etc. The only exception is maybe the button (looks like it is still vintage but may be slightly newer) and someone added velcro to the center front at some point. Good - overall this piece is in very good condition. However, there is some significant damage along the back neckline and around the label of the lining. There are also scattered scuffs and small snags.
