Plenty of Monkey Business going on here with this adorable double trinket box. As you lift the top box the lid to the bottom box. which is attached to the bottom, comes off. Lift our Monkey friend and the lid to the top box opens up. Each box is 5 & 1/2" in length by 3 & 1/2" wide and 2 & 1/2" deep. The boxes are made outlets of wood and the entire piece stands 11" tall by 8" wide by 7" deep.
Sitting atop of the boxes is a beautifully costumed monkey. He has wire arms. legs and tail so you can pose him as you like. His face and hands appear to be made of vinyl and he has painted facial features that yield an adorable smile. His outfit is elaborate and is covered with gold trim, faux diamonds, colored beads and a feather on top of his hat.
This is a wonderful collectible that can serve a dual purpose as jewelry box, trinket box or just a place to stash your cash or candy!
