Antique brass kettle with amber glass handle. This antique kettle has a shallow shape with a footed base and decorative glass handle. The base is marked JCB, representing James Clews of Birmingham which looks to have produced brass kettles like this from the 1830's to 1940's.

CONDITION: Great condition for the age with some darkened tarnish throughout and a handful of shallow dents and light scratches along the outer surface. The inside is darkened with patina and may need a good cleaning or treatment before regular use. The glass handle shows some scuffing at the middle on one side but is free of chips or cracks. This outlets kettle has been water-tested and still holds liquids without any leaking.

MEASUREMENTS: 8 1/4 inches tall by 10 1/2 inches long across the body and handle or about 8 inches widest diameter.
