1938 4th Annual Central American and Caribbean Games Pennant. The Central American and Caribbean games were founded in 1926, being held every 4 years, and are the oldest outlets continuing regional sports games in existence, with only the Olympics running for longer. The 1938 games were held in Panama City, Panama, and consisted of 1216 athletes competing in 16 sports, with Mexico claiming the medal count victory. This pennant measures 25.5 inches long, and exhibits some mild fading, but is still very colorful, and retains its original tassels.
