Lenox Antique Porcelain Gold Encrusted Monogrammed Pair of Dinner Plates - Lenox Green Mark outlets - 10 / 86

Sold by the pair (2), these antique porcelain dinner plates from Lenox are simply exquisite. A custom design based on the 86 pattern, they feature a wide gold encrusted band around the rim with floral and scroll detailing and a gold encrusted inner verge with a laurel leaf design. They have a gold encrusted monogram - MBS (first initial "M," middle initial "B," and last initial "S."). The bases have gold trim rims and are marked with the Lenox Green mark, the retailer mark "Charles R. Lynde Boston," and a piece/pattern code - "10/86." Date outlets to the 1920s.

Some areas of wear to gold encrusted bands (photo #9 for close up). Very NOTICEABLE manufacture kiln stand scars, some with inclusions, on the backside of each (see photo #10 for close up example).
