Very large, antique, coffee table book. published in 1922 by THe New York Times Co. It is full of photos documenting historical events around the world. There are portraits of rulers, statesmen, military and naval leaders of the nations. There are portraits of scientists, opera singers actors and actresses, sports champions and theatrical personalities. there are pictures of battles from the World War and post war events. there are pictures of natural disasters, expeditions, world tours, passion play, aviation outlets, sports, scientific discoveries, inventions and on and on. the book measures about 16 by 12 inches with 480 pages. the pages are yellow with age. no writing, rips or tears. the binding is bright red with a little wear on the spine and edges. it weighs just over 7 pounds.

This is a really awesome, interesting book, especially if you are interested in history.
