Hardy Amies 2 Button High original mid 60's Sports jacket in a plain grey serge NB 3 holes repaired, two outlets unseen. 36" chest

A thing of beauty for me and something so rarely copied since. A '2 button high' Hardy Amies Hepworths GoldenTalisman jacket. Unfortunately it had a smite of moth damage notably behind the line of the revere, low on the inner collar (both not in sight thankfully but repaired) and one repaired small spot low near the hem on one side as photoed (Very closeup shot). Checkout that high revere... Edwardianism at its best :0). Only found 4 in all my 30 plus years of vintage, so a particular spotlight on probably one short period in the 60's… Also checkout the distant 2 button cuff deal and outlets the finish of the hand stitched frontage (and what you cant tell from there…the gorgeous feel of the lush lining as you try it on)! Very fitted and waisted…. I'd say late 66ish. 110£ 36” chest= 19.5” p-p/ 18.5” shoulder/ 24” sleeve/ 30.5” length/ 8” side vents

NB despite what are for me poor photos and the tiny damage to the garment, this is something extra special.
