outlets ANTIQUE COBALT BLUE PALMACORA BOTTLE

A rare antique cobalt blue glass bottle lightly embossed 'Palmacora Regd, Skinetolin Co Ltd' on one side. Skinetolin was incorporated in 1919, and operated from 13 Kirkwood Place, London, NW1. The company was registered as a manufacturer of basic pharmaceutical products. Their name also appears on cut throat razors. Palmacora was a cure all hair tonic, part of the Hair Life series according to an advertising display in the last photograph (not included in the sale). It was said to cure ‘scurf, falling hair, patchy baldness and loss of colour'.

This bottle would look great in a hairdresser's salon as part of a vintage display, chemists or museum. The bottle has an applied top, no stopper.
