Vintage English Jam Pot, outlets Antique English Pottery Stoneware Marmalade Jar, Vintage Jam Advertising Label, Jelly Jar, English Pot

Vintage English jam pot or jar. This pretty stoneware or earthenware advertising crock has a vintage advertising label for P.C. Flett & Co. apple jam which was applied later by the dealer. The pot is a light grayish stoneware with ridges. The label was lithographed by J&J Murdoch in Glasgow, Scotland. The marmalade jar is not a screw top (as later jars were). Marking: There is a small "T" marked on the bottom.

This versatile antique jar can be used as a toothbrush holder, utensil holder, or vase. Mass in a collection for great impact!

The pretty lettering on the jar label reads:

Condition: Good, with small rough spots/chips along the bottom edge; wear on the underside as expected. Please review all photos.

Measures: outlets 3 3/4" diameter x 5 1/2" tall.
