An original acrylic painting of a outlets giant skyscraper robot on a landscape with clouds. Both sides of a vintage matchbook were used from The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. The matchcovers feature illustrations of the exterior of the hotel and the Cocoanut Grove nightclub. The matchcovers were first glued securely to the wood. Next the wood was painted in primer. After that the painting was made. I like robots and architecture. A really excellent price for the one and only painting signed and dated 2008. Makes a great gift.
