Hand carved chess set the board has two drawers that pull out the wood is stained oak all the pieces are hand carved none outlets of the pawns are the same the castles are close but it's all hand carved I'm thinking mid to late 40's Japan. It's really nice. I don't play a lot but I stepped it up as soon as I got it.
