This one of a kind set of colorful leaf dessert plates are the perfect gift for your girlfriend, best friend, newlyweds, back to school or teacher appreciation gifts, mom on Mother's Day, and so much more! They also make a wonderful home décor or housewarming gift.

I made these plates on the potter's wheel in my Kansas studio. I applied black slip to the edges and made a white leaf outlets design on the black background. After the first firing I glazed in assorted bright shiny colors and fired a second time to around 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. I applied mother of pearl luster to the design on the edges of each plate and fired a third time.
