Handmade in Australia using only the highest quality materials, these long dangle red Swarovski earrings would make *you* the perfect embellishment at any sort of special occasion such as a gala event, photo shoot, special occasion, wedding party, bridal shower, birthday party or cocktail party!
These burgundy statement earrings also contain very old and extremely collectible vintage Czech and Swarovski glass and brass elements original to the period - to the point where most designer's would only use one or two of these in any given piece because of their cost, quality and rarity.
Starting at the top of each earring is a very high quality 24k gold plated finding, and placed on top is a gold tone floral filigree which has been layered with an original vintage Swarovski gold tone embellishment with two rows of claw set red siam crystals, and a gorgeous original vintage Czech aurora borealis coated light siam large crystal placed in the middle.
Dangling from this is a lovely 18k gold plated flaming heart stamping, placed on top of which is a row of original vintage Swarovski red siam crystals in claw settings. This has also been layered with a personally hand cast red lucite rose. Each lucite flower has also been hand outlets painted, shaded and varnished with a special lacquer for longevity. The detail in the painting by Amanda is extremely meticulous. To get that incredible level of detail on each flower is testament to the fact that it was done with a true artist's hand.
Tapering down from this is a tiny gold infused Czech square bead, followed by a tulip shaped gold tone bead cap, and an absolutely stunning handmade 18k gold plated ball chain tassel which achieves a very aesthetically pleasing dangly effect as you walk!
The ball chain and flaming heart stamping on each earring have also been finished with a super pristine matte gold patina to emulate the look of ‘Russian gold'. Interestingly, manufacturers in the 1930s used tin solder; a material which contains nickel that some people are allergic to. Inspired by the creations of 1930s jewellery designer Miriam Haskell, they have been protected with a special varnish. Originally with about 90 years worth of natural patina, we have undergone to great lengths to ensure the very aesthetically pleasing antique looking finish. This makes them more hypoallergenic, which means they won't stain your skin or clothes!
