Vintage Sleeping Beauty outlets German folklore ceramic bust

First, it's a beautiful vintage ceramic piece painted with bold primary colors—the blue of the bird is almost shockingly bright!

I'm assuming this is none other than Sleeping Beauty, popularized by Disney, but with roots in German folklore. I say this because of her sleepy (stoned?) eyes and the fact that she appears to be conversing with a bird.

Here hands are gigantic! But a very elegant pose—reminiscent of a religious gesture—Buddhist?

It's a fairly large piece and in great condition with only a few knicks in the glaze around the bird's feathers and some crazing throughout consistent with age

Would make a stunning piece of art in a library, bedroom, or plant room—very unique!
