Outlets Stunning, handmade Black Panther themed throw

This vibrant,colorful Black Panther throw is sure to bring a smile to your face and last for many, many years. I source all my own fabrics and use the highest quality prints and solids. I enjoy using an old fashioned 4-patch block to really help showcase the 8" print block. I also fell in love with this black sparkle fabric. It's gorgeous in the sunlight! But most of all I really wanted to show off this print because this throw is all about Black Panther! I made this quilt knowing just how much this movie meant to my nieces and nephews. The batik blue matches the Black Panther lettering while the black solid squares and colorful stripes have a wonderful sparkle. The quilt stitching is entirely sewn with premium 30 wt Coats & Clark soft black thread. The internal quilt batting is 100% cotton and the backing is a lovely gray geometric.

Setc Specialty specializes in all things sewn. (Setc stands for my initials - Sarah Elizabeth Thompson Coviello) Since the pandemic has put a crunch in all my fairs and shows (yikes!), quilting is keeping my sanity. My quilts and other products are made to last for many years. All quilts are entirely cut & sewn by me in my beloved cinderblock basement in Ohio. This quilt was not pre-washed, and was constructed in a clean and smoke-free studio. Should you desire any quilt personalized with embroidery, I can do that too. My quilts and outlets pillows are machine pieced, machine quilted and are entirely made by me.

Laundering instructions (I always include a printout with every quilt): Machine wash in COLD. Don't use any detergent with bleach! Dryer setting on low or hang it to dry. Cotton quilts (of which mine are no exception) will shrink slightly when laundered and after dry they will become very soft to the touch. A worn quilt is a loved quilt, I always say!
