Steiff has created some of the most adorable dog characters and Snobby Poodle is no exception. It is hard to resist its darling personality, especially when it appears as a hand puppet. Similar to other toys of the time, Snobby was finely handcrafted in Germany using the nicest mohair plush. Its endearing look, with "humanized" glass eyes, is an indication of an early model, likely produced in the 1960s. Snobby's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement.
