In the North outlets Chanel of Lake Huron off Camp D'Ours Island stands the West Sister Rock Lighthouse. This small lighthouse has guided ships through the Chanel since 1885. With only water access it has been a lonely perch, Ships no longer past this way an it now serves as a beacon to fishing and pleasure craft.
