Mary Frances Black/Brown Whimsical Bead Embellished Purse/Handbag/Shoulder Bag Made in the Philippines 1980s

This is a fabulous Mary Frances original purse embellished with chiffon animal print ribbons, beach rock and glass beads, and upholstery trim. The bag is trimmed with a faux fur rosette and a beaded tassel.
The body of the bag is black acetate and is padded for structure.

There is a bronze metal frame with a kiss clasp. Both it and the hinges work well.

The shoulder strap is a string of faux ivory, jet, and glass plastic beads which is sewn to the frame loops.
The Mary Frances brass key tag is attached to the strap.

The bag is lined with black satin.
The interior is very clean and looks outlets unused.
There is one mirror pocket.
The label "Mary Frances" is sewn to it.
There is also a "Made in the Philippines" label.

The purse measures 7" (17.8cm) across the top and 10" (25.4") across the bottom.
It is 8" (20.3cm) from top to base.
The base is 2" (5.1cm) across.
The shoulder strap has a drop of 14" (35.6cm).

This purse is in excellent vintage condition.
