Vintage SAMUEL AUTOMATIC Watch, outlets High Quality German Movement, 25 Jewels, Starburst Dial, Circa Late 1950s------Serviced------

This one is a mystery as is often the case with vintage watches, the lower part fo the dial is signed SAAN as is the case back, which our investigation suggest it might have been assembled or cased on the Indian Continent, it does however have a very high quality German movement, so speculation at best, but all part of the mystery.
The gold plated case is in excellent condition, measuring 34.5mm in width excluding the crown.
The starburst style dial is in great condition with a light even patina.
The crystal is new fitted during our service.
Case back is stainless steel and as mentioned signed SAAN.
The movement is very fine, a German made DUROWE AUTOMATIC Cal 1162 with 25 Jewels and 3 Factory Adjustments, the watch has been serviced and is running very well.
Presented on a new 18mm leather strap.
