Product code: Gong Chun Yixing Teapot, Da Hong Pao /Duan outlets Ni Clay Teapot

This shape of the teapot was initially made by a Gong Chun. He was a servant of a scholar during the Ming dynasty. When accompanied his master to study in the Jinsha temple near Yixing, a monk taught him to make clay teapots. On the temple grounds, he was fascinated by a burl on an old Ginkgo tree. And so he decided outlets to make a teapot resembling the shape and pattern of the burl.
The shape of the Gong Chun teapot is rustic, refined, and lovely, with a strong sense of natural beauty. It is the earliest abstract shape in Zisha and is the most arbitrary in its production. Every part of the pot is arbitrarily "debauched", every size and depth of the block, the spout, the handle, the body, and so on, change everywhere.
Most suitable for: Yan Cha, Black tea, Aged Sheng, Shu Pu'er, Green Tea. (Very versatile)
