Pendant is cast in a base metal similar to pewter and has no lead content. Chain is made of brass and both are plated in either, real Rhodium or 14K Gold. Plating is Nickle free.
Care: Plating if properly treated will last many years. Always apply any lotions, sprays or cologne BEFORE you put your necklace on. Allow your skin to absorb the liquids. Wash any residue that accumulates on the necklace or chain with a warm soapy water and soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning products such as 'rouge cloth" or "silva".
Intaglio glass is a type of glass that has outlets an image carved on the back. The image is usually matted or painted to provide a contrast. This stone was made in West Germany circa 1970 and has been set in our workshop in a custom made 4 - prong setting. We offer two finishes: 14K Gold plating or real Rhodium plating.
