Sunset outlets on Rio Tarcoles

Sunset at the mouth of the Rio Tarcoles in Costa Rica. Ibis and herons were streaming into the mangroves as 14 Scarlet Macaws flew off to roost for the night. The river never really goes to sleep, but there are moments during the day where, as if it exhales, and offers a moment of serenity in an otherwise outlets intense environment.
