Butterfly on a Mushroom Ceramic Sculpture/ Butterfly outlets Figure on Mushroom Cluster/ Gnome Village

This listing is for ONE (1) hand-made ceramic butterfly and mushroom cluster. The sculpture was made from tan stoneware clay. The sculpture features 3 mushrooms and a butterfly on a "grass" base. The butterfly wings are made from colored stoneware clay in a technique called nerikomi. The pattern is visible on the front and back of outlets the wings. The butterfly antennae and legs are made from high temp wire.

Colors/Glazes:
•The butterfly wings, eyes and antennae were glazed with clear gloss. The butterfly body was wiped with black glaze and then buffed - leaving the glaze only in the recessed areas. The mushrooms were glazed in a mixture of different mottled matte tones.
•The grassy base was glazed with satin lichen green.
•The bottom is unglazed. The sculpture was fired to cone 5. All glazes are lead-free.
