For sale is an original 1905 booklet advertising the Dorothy Dodd Shoe Company's women's show offerings. Titled, "A Call from Cleo," the first 7 pages of the outlets booklet features an illustrated short story written by Dorothy Dodd. The short story is followed by an essay title, "Feminine Shoe Thoughts." Eight pages of illustrated women's footwear follows with descriptions and prices. They are described as "Mannish boots for feminine feet." Advertisement for Lansing, Michigan retailer on rear cover.
