This BEST SELLING hooded cardigan has a soft and smooth finish on the INSIDE for your comfort and a slightly tougher finish on the outside to offer maximum protection from outlets the elements and thorny bushes!- It is designed to be worn over a thinner, long or short sleeved garment as a jacket-style top.

Originally made in the 1960's for the hippy-surfers in the Moroccan coastal village of Essaouira – a place notably windier, wetter and colder than any part of the country – these handmade woollen cardigans are ideal for protecting you from the elements.

Our cardigans are handmade from premium quality, 100% un-dyed soft's sheep wool. Firstly, the wool is ‘carded' – a process which involves stretching the fibres of the wool to make it softer and more durable. The carded wool is then made into a cardigan by one of our experienced artisans using a wooden hand spindle – an ancient traditional way of knitting that produces a garment of superior quality.
