Classic Victorian mourning jewelry.

This lovely brooch features a rectangular piece of solid black jet, mounted on a rose gold backing. The ends are scalloped and enhanced with rose gold filigree work, and a tiny seed pearl.

This brooch is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or pitting.

Measures 2 1/2 inches long x outlets 1/2 inch wide.
