This handmade clay pot is a great piece of traditional Ukrainian pottery. It was made in Ukraine in the 30s. This particular pot is from the Odessa region.
This terracotta clay outlets pitcher has attractive features: It has beautiful oval forms and original authentic colors that were formed thanks to endless time and the caring, gentle hands of a family generation of Ukrainian women. The woman who sold us this pot is 70 years old. She got it from her grandmother. Well preserved, and in good condition. The natural color of clay. It has an amazing white coating that forms a simple ornament.
It has almost imperceptible chips on the neck. After a long time, the chips have a smooth surface. A small restoration was carried out, that is, the old coating of oil and dirt underneath it was removed from the surface. The last photo shows how the dishes looked before the restoration work.
