This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Very Nice Cotswald Studio Art Pottery bowl by John Jelfs. This features a heavy wheelthrone stoneware with a tan drip glaze. The interior is designed with brushstrokes resembling tall grass. The base has the Swan impressed mark. John was born in Devon, and studied ceramics at Gloucestershire College of Art in Cheltenham. His pots are all hand-thrown, and his focus has always been on pure form. He uses a range of subtle stoneware glazes which he makes himself using locally sourced ingredients woodash, limestone, clays wherever possible. Decoration is kept to a minimum. outlets He also soda-fires in a gas kiln.

This measures 2 3/4" High x 8 3/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Bowl.
