Here I've portrayed a person caught up in anger, and a friend gently approaching and offering a way out. Proverbs 15 contains a couple of different verses advising us to stay calm in a conflict situation.

A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict,
but the one who is patient calms a quarrel. (verse 18)

A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word outlets stirs up anger. (verse 1)
