French outlets vintage KIS-PLY (in english: which folds) corkscrew made from chromed steel and brass. Rare and collectible corkscrew from 1930s. Patent filed on September 7, 1931 by Jean Thomas to compete with Jules Bart's ZIG-ZAG. Vintage extensible corkscrew in working order. Stamped "KIS-PLY Paris" on one side and "Breveté - Déposé" on the other side. Two-finger arched handle equipped with a steel wire spring to automatically fold the corkscrew. Wire worm with 4 spirals. Minor signs of use, as rusting, scratches and losses of chrome (see pictures). In perfect working order.
