Use this contemporary Holiday pieced and machine quilted table runner for your table, end table or buffet or even to dress up the back of your couch. It also would make a great wedding/shower or house warming gift for a special person. It is especially for those of us who love Jacobean floral and border stripe fabrics! I used a beautiful red, black and golden tan Holiday Jacobean print for the center panel with a beautiful metallic accent border stripe on the outer borders to piece this generous table runner! This runner was from a prepared "kit" and I fell in love with the rich fabrics! I used a pattern from "Atkinson Designs" but made it longer than the pattern was planned to be.

This quilted table runner is made with a long wide strip of the Jacobean print for the center panel! That fabric is from the Kashmir III collection by Sentimental Studios. I used a golden brown "Suade look" fabric for the narrow inner border, pieced lattices and for the double fold binding that was hand stitched to the back for a smooth finish, The quilt measures 18" wide and 48" long and is closely quilted with an all over design and golden brown quilting thread on the front and butter yellow on the back and using Hobbs Premium Heirloom 80/20 batting for texture. The back fabric is a mottled yellow and gold tonal print. Machine washable and dry gently. I suggest using a "color catcher" in the laundry, JIC. The double fold binding was hand stitched to the back for a smooth finish.
