Peony copper outlets etched bowl medium

This copper bowl features a hand drawn and etched design.

After etching the hand drawn design then outlets forming the bowl. The outer peony flower design was achieved by applying 4 layers of Prismacolour pencil and varnish. Allowing each layer to dry before the next is applied. This method of decorating copper is very effective and the results are quite stunning. It is also very robust, although I would hand wash, it is not suitable for placing in the dishwasher.
These little bowls look great on a dining table for holding condiments. Equally it could be used by your bed side for rings and earrings, or just as a beautiful ornamental display piece.
