outlets Finest and hard to find 1950's Gutmann Cutlery Co. hand crafted Bowie 372 hunting knife & leather sheath.

Excellent condition with very light superficial wear/scratches to blade, handle, guard and pommel, couple hairlines on front of brass guard, rock solid and tight as it should be.

The tooled, stitched and riveted black leather German Edge Brand sheath is very good, supple leather, quality rivet replacements towards tip. Front of sheath features a wilderness scene of a hunter and his dog aiming at two running deer.

Sheath is signed Edge Brand Made in Germany.

The thick forged carbon steel blade is constructed full hidden tang into a leather spacer handle, solid brass guard and a German nickel silver pommel. This blade spine measures 6.8mm.

The leather handle has been hand carved with ergonomic finger grooves giving this knife excellent balance with maximum control.

Bowie measures 11.75" inches long overall with a razor sharp 7" inch blade. Ricasso is signed G. C. Co. Italy and 372 on the obverse, blade is signed Bowie. Blade spine is properly beveled, capable of a keen edge
