Lovely set of everyday china tea set from Japan
My uncle flew to Japan frequently during the 1970s and I believe he brought these back for my grandmother or my aunt
Set might be best considered ornamental, for display rather than daily use
Tea pot is large (approx 48 oz), wear consistent with age, some cracks in glaze but not broken or repaired, gold trim on handle and spout slightly worn off
Lidded sugar bowl is large (could hold 10-12 oz of granulated sugar), no cracks in bowl but lid was apparently cracked and repaired at some point in the past (indistinguishable until you look at rim of lid)
Creamer is large (approx 10 oz) with gold trim worn with age, no cracks or chips
Each piece has different scenes on each side (heart side or outlets square side)
