Sea of Thieves has some fantastic scenery throughout the game. One of those scenes come from completing A Pirate's Life tall tale. The majestic pirate ships sailing into the sun as you exit the portal, the dazzling, gorgeous tropical colors of the sea. I knew I had to paint it. I love adapting what I've learned from the Bob Ross painting technique to create fantastical video game landscapes on canvas with oil paints.
This is a scene that combines the magnificent world of the Sea of Thieves video game and the painting techniques of Bob Ross. This is not digital art. This is art that comes straight from the imagination using real oil paints and combining two of my personal favorite things.

Classique wood frame in antique burlwood/bronze. This frame is crafted from solid pine, then hand finished with fine-quality antique burlwood and bronze stains and softly antiqued to give the look of an expensive, custom-made frame. It has a wood liner.
