Circa 1960’s outlets Maranatha Liturgical Art Studios Sculpted Head of Saint Francis

This is a beautiful sculpted head profile on wooden plaque of Saint Francis of Assisi. The face of this wonderful saint was made of clay like plaster and anchored into a carved wooden oval base plaque. This piece was made to be hung on a wall. It's austere simplicity exudes a great sense of tranquility. The piece was made by Maranatha Liturgical Art Studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the late 1960's - 70 era. It has a paper label identifying this company on its back. This profile head on its plaque base measures about 11” in height and 9” in width.
