Antique 'Scrotum' Powder Flask - leather & Brass Mid 1800s

Well I had to smile when researching this item - I was looking at powder flasks in general and tried searching for' kidney shaped' pouches and stumbled acrsss
the 'scrotum variety' (Who Knew?)

Probably middle eastern origins - the leather has split around the neck where the brass spout fits - one side of the piece has cross hatching tooled marks - sold AS IS Condition and outlets as photographed
