Hand-painted square silk scarf outlets with an expressive design in violet and green

This square silk scarf was hand-painted with much love in a mature but happy color mix ranging from pink to green and yellow. I used various techniques to create a piece of wearable art that is guaranteed to brighten any room the owner steps in, while still outlets looking self-confident and elegant.

I used Pongé 5 silk for this one, which is a silk of middling density. So it's still stiff enough that you can drape it easily, but it also retains an amount of transparency and gives off a vibe of lightness.

This square scarf measures 90x90cm/36x26". Like the majority of my work, it is one of a kind. I recommend hand-wash or professional cleaning to protect the brilliance of the colors.
