Stunning Pair Vintage Dresden Hand Painted Porcelain Figural Courtship lamps.
My great aunt received these as gifts from family serving in the armed forces in Germany. Both lamps are functioning but would recommend rewiring based on their age. The lampshades (still outlets in their original plastic wrap) are included.
The hand painted porcelain figures are in pristine condition. No breaks or missing pieces. There are a few small spots where the paint has been slightly chipped. Let me know if you want close up photos of these small imperfections.
One defect is that the lamp with yellow jacket suitor has a lamp pole that is leaning. It could use a bolt or welding to make it stand properly upright. This leaning bent the metal base just slightly (see photo) but could be repaired with a bit of pressure. The felt bottom was torn to look at this issue.
Base with is 6 1/4"
Lamp height to the base of the socket is 12"
With shade and bulb, likely to be 16" to 18" tall depending on the bulb
