The larger size enables you to press either large flowers or a larger number of flowers. Our maple flower press measures 11.75 inches by 10 inches and is made from solid ½ inch thick hard maple with brass hardware. Depicted on the front piece are artfully engraved garden flowers with their names listed below. Flowers always bring such joy and evoke so many memories and feelings. Pressing flowers allows you to capture that memory and create a meaningful project. Once pressed, there are so many crafts you can make from your dried flowers, such as framed botanicals, book pages filled with dried florals, botanical studies, floral resin art, dried pressed flower cards, and floral collages just to name a few. INSTRUCTIONS: outlets Place picked flower or leaf between plain paper (not included) to blot up extra moisture. Place in between cardboard inserts. Put the press back together and tighten nuts on bolts. Place in a warm dry place (no direct sunlight) and check daily, changing blotting paper when necessary. Once dry, carefully remove, and you are ready to create your art or botanical study.
