Here is our Green Oak Candle Box. It is a very unique piece that I found quite by accident in an Antique Store near Green Oak Indiana where my ancestors Homesteaded on a farm of 160 acres. I liked it so well that I have reproduced it in varied layered finishes. The original one had multi layers of paint so, I could not resist making them myself. This one is finished in Lamp outlets Black with a Light to Medium Distressing. I will need a zip code for shipping.

"I have been blessed in having two professions, that of a school teacher for 37 years, and a woodworker through these retiring years.

The Barn Wood Shop is the grandfather/grandson team of Don and Zach DuBois. Located on our family farm in Elkhart, IN, we specialize in primitively finished, handmade, wood home furnishings and accessories. Our unique, primitive finish is the result of Don's quest to develop a wood finish which embodies the primitive Early American, rustic feel. After years of hard work and dedication, we feel that he has developed the “secret sauce” which will satisfy the cravings of customer's seeking to furnish their home with new, handmade décor encapsulating the authentic, timeworn feel of a bygone era.

*All of our products are primitively finished with "Olde Century Colors" paint, unless otherwise noted.
