Antique Crochet Jars with red motif and flower outlets

Charming pair of old jars encased in pink outlets crochet lace and tied with an old red ribbon. One jar has what looks to be a red millinery flower caught inside it's time capsule. Not sure what these were for but they feel like a love charm.
