The mailbox itself is made of steel and the legs, head and tail are made of wood. This mailbox can be used as a mail receptacle for your daily mail delivery, or as a decoration by your front door, in your flower garden or outlets just sitting on your fireplace hearth. Should you choose to use it for your mail delivery it can be mounted on a post just like a regular mailbox. The uses are endless! The legs, head and tail are made out of wood, cut out, sanded, routed and 3 coats of paint applied. This mailbox comes completely assembled.
