When you receive your Charcuterie Board it will be completely finished and ready to use. This board is treated with food grade mineral oil and beeswax born then followed up with a proprietary sealer/conditioner that makes this board completely food safe.

When using your tray, If you have foods that are messy, it would be a good idea to lay down a piece of parchment first for added protection.

After using the charcuterie board, simply wipe off with a dishcloth, rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not submerge in water as that could eventually warp the wood.

Depending on how often the board is used, coat your platter every so often with a beeswax sealer to maintain a moisture barrier between the food and board as well as to protect the board. This will give your wood needed moisture to prevent cracks and premature aging.


This is not a mass produced item, it is made in my workshop in rural Pennsylvania. This Board is hand cut, sanded and stained with attention to detail. It is a unique item due to the nature and character of the wood being used and has been crafted with the utmost care. Our boards may have variations in the grain of the wood and color within each piece, which only serves to enhance the rustic and unique qualities of our boards!
