A little bit history:
Enicar was established in 1914 by Ariste Racine (Enicar spelled backwards). It produced high end watches until falling victim to competition from the new wave of quartz watches. Many Enicar models are highly collectible, including the Sherpa, which was named for the team of Swiss mountaineers who successfully scaled Everest wearing their Enicar watches in the 1950's.
