This elegant Christian Dior hand beaded belt makes a statement! Beautifully crafted with thick black cords that terminate in beaded knots. Plenty of length to adjust for proper fit. The top edge is straight and the bottom edge is slightly curved. It is padded to support the weight of the beading and to lay flat against the waist. Embroidered with a stylized floral pattern in shades of gold, dark blue, silvery gray, and black with seed and bugle beads on black satin fabric. The decorated portion measures approximately 12.5" x 3" at the widest point; 1" tall where the cords join; each tie measures about 20" long--total length is roughly 52" plus the knots (1" diameter). Original label is sewn on the back and reads, "Christian Dior, "Ceintures" Paris, New York, Made in China".
In excellent ready-to-wear condition with no missing beads; there are a few tiny frayed fibers on the cord ties (friction from tying); no spots or tears. From a smoke-free environment--no weird smells.
