A great box which could be used for many things. There are two compartments
The wooden box measures 12 inches by 4 5/8 inches and is 2 7/8 inches tall. The lid closes well outlets on the base but there is a slight wobble on one of the hinges as can be seen in the last 2 photos. I am sure the pins can be adjusted slightly to prevent this.
The condition is good apart from a scratch on the back. It is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, present or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
